Hi, I’m Melanie, your friendly local queer photographer. When I first started my photography journey, I only had a cheap point and shoot and was far away from home. I used that little camera to help me take in my surroundings and to help me process my homesickness.
When I look back at those images from India 17+ years ago, I am immediately taken back to the sights, noise, smells of that overwhelming place. That's what I love: the visceral nature of photography and images.
I am a large lady who loves books, tattoos, gardening, and my animals. My favorite thing in the world is nerding out with clients and finding common ground. Also, creating an experience that puts you at ease.
