“I am an African American male, retired military with 24 service years. I counsel for a variety of emotional and mental disorders that include ADHD, Adjustment, Anxiety, Depression, Autism, Grief, PTSD, and Trauma. I counsel children, adolescents, adults, families, Law Enforcement and Military, LGBTQI+ Affirming, marriage, and pre-marital. I have previous experience as a college psychology professor, juvenile correctional officer, residential counselor, substitute teacher, and special education community liaison.
I use client's philosophical and/or spiritual orientation, as well as incorporate the use of Solution Brief Therapy, CBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Gestalt Therapy, Integrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Neuro-Informed, Positive Psychology, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Structural Family Theory, and Transactional Analysis.”
