Family Pride: Hosted by the HHC at SC Pride’s Pride Festival

Family Pride is a section of SC Pride’s festival in October that is hosted by the Harriet Hancock Center! Family Pride isn’t just for kids, it’s for all ages! We have a variety of activities and offerings including drag story hours, arts & crafts, free snacks and beverages, and prizes. The Center also hosts an Accessibility & Sensory Tent inside of Family Pride. Pride events are a vital space for visibility, connection, and celebration and we want to make them as accessible for everyone to attend as possible. Visit the Accessibility and Sensory Tent for:
- A place to cool down
- Water & electrolytes
- Snacks
- A place to sit
- Sensory tools such as earplugs, calm strips, gum, etc.
- A quieter environment to decompress
