Volunteering is more than just giving your time; it's about making a meaningful impact on the world around us.

Volunteers play a crucial role at the Harriet Hancock Center in our daily operations. It’s because of our volunteers that we’re able to keep our doors open consistently Monday through Thursday and host events that are life-changing and life-saving.

Most of our volunteers help with administrative tasks like checking emails and answering phone calls, but many also participate on a committee that helps drive change and action for the HHC.

All volunteers are managed by our operations and development manager, however, without our volunteer department coordinators we wouldn’t have nearly as much action.

Our current volunteer department coordinators are:

  • Andy Reeder, Social Media and Graphic Design Coordinator

  • MK Davis, Website Coordinator

  • Kim Richey, Resource Management Coordinator

  • Kim Flicker, Outreach Coordinator

  • Frankie Kozlowski, Library Coordinator

And our current committees are:

  • Resource Vetting

  • Event Planning

  • Outreach

  • Literacy and Accessibility

  • Communications

  • Fundraising

Volunteers don’t have to maintain a role on a committee, however, we want to make sure that we’re connecting folx in a meaningful way to our mission and needs.
